This is literally the suckest thing I had ever produced!——I thought when I for the first time exported the video and watched it from the beginning to the end.

I am a rookie to premiere, and I once believed this is the limit I could reach, I even thought about changing the topic to a new one, but my tutor inspired me to continue cutting.

Gladly I did it. Nothing is done, and every “done” is an undone. It’s just to what percent, undone.

This is another process. I did much effort on the editing but I haven’t add those sounds.

The demo video will be at the last of this blog.

As a record to the process, I put this email I wrote to my tutor here:

I’m Junyi Jiang(Skenat) in S6 CTS class. I am really struggling about the collection project.

I visited academic support this morning, and received some really good advice on choosing the theme of collection. I finally have chosen on to collect things that are white due to a dream that I dreamt when I was in primary school. It is a curious dream, with only a white bed in a white room, and this fixed scene lasted for the whole dream, until I wake up. And years later I was instructed by a psychology consoler to imagine myself back into the dream imagine I am standing in that room. The curious thing is that after some kind of explore, I find that there is no door, and I wouldn’t dare to interact with the beddings of the bed. All at a sudden I start to cry.

I think this dream is somehow related to some negative emotions I usually have in primary school so I wanted to collect things that makes me remember the bad days of the primary school and those negative emotions, and things that are white.

But then I encountered some problem:

1. I’m thinking of creating a same scene with this white dream and throw the white things that I have collected  into the room, but I don’t have money to buy a bed and a room and things I wanted to collect.(white curtains, white bedsheet…,white school uniform), and I don’t know how to make this related to my specialism direction(games design of screen school)
2. I don’t really want to make a film of something, nor animation, but I want to create something that is close to a game, but I have absolutely have no skill on creating games, should I learn how to create game now?
3. If I do have the money to buy things to collect and I did create a game or something interactable and digital, then what is the point of collecting things if I can only just search on google of the things I want to collect and download a photo?
4. I don’t know how can these things be put into three different taxonomies……If I am only collecting the white things. The teacher from academic support suggested me that I could confirm to my teacher that will collecting things from three different dreams create three different taxonomies? Though If that is true, I would feel so hard to make a collection of those fantasy and unrealistic dreams that I have dreamt since middle school…

All in all, thank you for reading through these worries……But I might not make any progress this week if I don’t talk this through with tutor.

So thank you for reading all these again and if choosing this theme can’t work out, then I will change to another!
